The “Chefs” met up in London, and live-streamed an improvised “Book Launch”, which you can watch in this video.
Meet “le chefs”
Chef David Lowe
Favourite dish: Spaghetti Carbonara, it is uncomplicated, comforting and full of flavour. A bit like him. He is also a coach, mentor, trainer, author and podcaster who is currently conducting doctoral research into the use of humour in coaching 😁!
Favourite Dish: Pizza, preferably with a thin, crisp crust. A former software developer who post-graduated in Psychology through Expressive Arts, now working as professional coach, facilitator, and certified Surf Instructor 🏄🏻♂️!
Really enjoyed reading the book, found it useful as a guide to designing sessions and having recipes in one place as a reference. The simple format, and the fine dining metaphor running throughout, it helped me to “ingest” the content more easily. Humour was a nice touch.
Love this book! A handy cookbook of fun activities to pep up your workshops. Presented clearly, simply and with great humour. My favourites: the caption competition, higher or lower and the welcome backs. A tasty read, and now I feel better for knowing what a mignardise is. Enjoy your meal!
Today, I was looking for the Check-In activity. So, instead of using the protocol page, I checked the cookbook. And it was on Le Menu. Yeaah! Awesome starter. The book is very intuitive, thanks to the cooking analogy. High-five to you too for that! I noticed the book is much more than that. You use it like a cookbook to cook that recipe you love. It is really a cookbook! 🙌
This book offers clear, fun and accessible content, packed with valuable tips and tricks for enhancing your virtual facilitation sessions. The abundance of practical advice in this book will undoubtedly find its way into my current job!
